Yes to the autopsy on the remains of Stefano Dal Corso, the Roman prisoner who died in a cell in the Oristano prison of Massama in October 2022. The tests were ordered by the Oristano Prosecutor's Office which said yes after seven rejected requests.

The inmate's sister, Marisa, announced the turning point during a meeting in Rome. She never believed in suicide, officially declared the cause of death. He immediately underlined the alleged anomalies in the reconstruction of the drama that took place behind bars: "The guards beat him," he said during a meeting with the press in the Chamber.

In recent days, an alleged superwitness had also appeared: he told investigators that Dal Corso had been beaten with bars because he had witnessed sexual intercourse between prison guards. A story whose veracity is being investigated by the Prosecutor's Office. Who has now ordered the autopsy: on January 4th the tests will be carried out by the Cagliari medical examiner, Roberto Demontis.

«I have never believed in suicide», declared the Dal Corso family's lawyer, Armida Decina, «but I have always said that the only element that can dispute the doubts is only the autopsy examination. In the public prosecutor's request to proceed with the autopsy, I was surprised to see the provisional charge change: we no longer have the hypothesis of manslaughter, but of voluntary homicide. And it changes the scenario of what had been feared until today. I want to thank the prosecutor's office: we have never accused anyone, but we have always said that what happened in Oristano was not a peaceful thing."
