The interrogation will be held tomorrow in Uta prison to validate the arrest of Claudio Gulisano, 44, who ended up in jail during the night between Monday and Tuesday on charges of double voluntary homicide for the death of his parents, the spouses Luigi Gulisano, 79, and Marisa Dessì, 82, found lifeless in their home on via Ghibli in Cagliari on December 5th due to poisoning.

The 44-year-old, defended by the lawyer Luigi Sanna, should answer the questions of the investigating judge clarifying the points that are still unclear in the whole affair. He could explain the reasons that would have pushed him to poison his parents.

The motive, according to the investigators' hypothesis, is economic: the Gulisano couple owned at least six apartments in the city.

Claudio was carrying debts related to the failure of a market that his father had given him and perhaps he was aiming for an inheritance . In addition, investigators have evidence of two withdrawals of large sums of money made by the 44-year-old. Another element that is still unclear is the substance used to kill the couple: the hypothesis is that sodium nitrite was used, dissolved or mixed with drinks and food.
