A plea deal of 3 months and 10 days was granted to the 42-year-old from Sorso accused of pointing a bow with an arrow inserted at some people on Saturday night outside the town's public garden.

This is the decision of judge Valentina Nuvoli who accepted the proposal of prosecutor Paola Manunza and defense lawyer Mario Spanu.

The man justified himself by stating that he had not intended to threaten anyone but that he was only taking the bow and arrows out of his car , a car which also had several scratches left recently on the bodywork.

The 42-year-old was also charged with unlawful possession of an instrument capable of offending and resisting a public official , a charge arising from the vehement reaction he had upon the arrival of the soldiers from the local police station.
