Since yesterday she has been hospitalized in the intensive care unit of the Santissima Annunziata in Sassari. Struck by the small car, she suffered serious head trauma and multiple facial and rib fractures. Already subjected to a delicate surgical operation, she will still have to undergo others.

The driver of the car, a 78-year-old man resident in Sorso, was also hospitalized and, probably due to an illness, lost control of the vehicle by invading the opposite lane and climbing onto the pavement where the woman was walking at that moment. in the company of a friend. The small car ended its run against a public lighting pole and a wall that separates Via Marina from Via Ponente. The 45-year-old ended up under the car, from which she was freed by the firefighters and handed over to the 118 operators who urgently transported her aboard the emergency helicopter to the civil hospital of Sassari.
