A serious incident occurred in Sorso. A street fight between an engaged couple escalated into a violent assault, resulting in the man's arrest and the emergency medical service dispatching him.

The attacker first slashed the tires of his girlfriend's car, then kicked and punched her. Her friend, who ran out into the street to defend her, was the one who fared the worst. Both women required emergency medical services to provide first aid before being taken to Sassari's hospital.

The first victim's friend, in more serious condition, suffered facial trauma. Witnesses who witnessed the incident alerted law enforcement and the emergency medical service.

In addition to the Carabinieri, local police officers also responded to the scene. The attacker, a resident of Sorso, was escorted by officers to the barracks pending validation of the arrest.
