Sorso, flames threaten the pine forest: the intervention of the firefighters

Firefighters intervened shortly after three o'clock in the night in Sorso , in the area of the descent to the sea in the La Vozza area .

To contain a fire that threatened the pine forest and extended for about 3 km, touching the valuable scrub with some juniper trees, the use of numerous hoses was required .

The extinguishing operations concluded this morning around 8am with the remediation of the area.
