Even between Bauladu and Paulilatino large wind turbines could soon arrive after Sorgenia, last January, published a notice of the start of the procedure with which it intends to build an additional plant. Too bad the local administrations know nothing about it and in eight months no one has informed them.

This was confirmed by the mayor of Bauladu Ignazio Zara and the councilor for the environment of Paulilatino Mario Putzolu . Something not exactly usual, considering that the Municipalities have the right to know first everything that happens in the territory.

«In Bauladu - confirms the mayor Zara - at the beginning of the year we were informed about the project through unofficial channels. I immediately convened the city council with my information on what we had learned on the agenda. Sorgenia was subsequently contacted to understand what they wanted to achieve, also because this notice was followed up by requests from private individuals to change the intended use of the land . It is clear that the are enticed by the idea of having significant income if wind power were to be built on their estates».

Same situation in the neighboring Municipality of Paulilatino. «Even we didn't know anything about it - highlights the councilor Mario Putzolu - and we were informed by the mayor of Bauladu. This is not correct, because we believe that the fact that local administrations are punctually overridden is not very serious , while we ask for concertation to decide together with the citizens on such an important issue".
