Christian Solinas sticks to the resolution of 1 June which launches the feasibility study for the project to build four new hospitals in Cagliari, Alghero, Sassari and in the Sulcis Iglesiente area.

In the reply phase, after the discussion on the six motions of the hospitals (two of the oppositions and four of the majority), he explained that «net of all the issues, we must bring the question back within a perimeter of truth: the majority is carrying on after fifty years an epochal project». In fact, he added, “there is a law (the 2020 health reform) and the resolution only implements it. Someone will cut the ribbon, it won't be us, but our role is to design».

Solinas also tried to clarify the financial allocations. "The coverage is not indicated because the resolution is limited to providing for a feasibility study". In any case, the 900 million euro of the agreement with the state on revenues are safeguarded, the rest will be recovered from the administration surplus up to 1.5 billion euro. After that, all the specifications will be contained in the resolution that will take note of the result of the feasibility studies, the governor later specified.

The interventions of the majority political forces were expected, which also contested the resolution. In particular that of the first signatory of the Forza Italia motion, Alessandra Zedda. Who insisted on the need to revise the text of the resolution. Why? “It contains important discrepancies. The premises are not linked to the primary competence of this Regional Council on the existing hospital network". Furthermore, "I cannot think that it is Ares with a preliminary study who can give indications and trace the road".
