No one washes like the Italians . Or at least this brings out Geomapped, an Instagram page specializing in geography, numbers and statistics: according to research findings, more than 95% of the country's inhabitants claim to take a shower at least once a day .

The same is not the case in the rest of Europe: in the vast majority of the states of the Old Continent, in fact, less than 65% have the same daily habit , preferring less frequent washing.

The only nation that comes close to Italian hygiene is Portugal , where the daily shower is a prerogative of a segment of the population that oscillates between 85 and 94%. Just below Spain and Greece, while elsewhere the three out of four inhabitants are not reached.
