The interrogation of the 14-year-old accused of stabbing a 15-year-old schoolmate in Capoterra continued throughout yesterday evening, apparently at the end of an argument.

The investigators also interrogated a third young man, an eyewitness, and recovered the images from the closed circuit cameras which would have recorded the entire scene, which took place near a bench not far from the "Sergio Atzeni" institute.

From what has emerged so far, the attacker would have attracted his rival with a trap and then opened his backpack and pulled out the knife with which he hit his partner in the neck.

The blade remained stuck, it was the 15-year-old who pulled it out and threw it to the ground.

The injured man was rescued and taken to hospital in very serious conditions, the 14-year-old was stopped.

The motive for what happened is not yet clear. However, the episode caused great alarm, Minister Valditara issued a note in which he underlined "the need to bring back the culture of respect in our schools".
