Shipwreck at Asinara, Pinna discharged from hospital. The sister of the missing person: "I want to know what happened to David"
The 35-year-old survivor left the hospital in Sassari. Now he will have to clarify to the prosecutors what happened on April 12th. Nadia Calvia's appeal on social media: "I ask for answers"Giovannino Pinna, the 35-year-old diver from Sassari who survived the shipwreck of last April 12 in the Gulf of Asinara, has been discharged from the Santissima Annunziata hospital in Sassari.
The boat with which Pinna was going on an underwater fishing trip with his cousin, Davide Calvia, still missing , had sunk in the stretch of sea between Stintino and Porto Torres.
Pinna was found 24 hours later on a beach in Marina di Sorso, about fifteen kilometers from the shipwreck area. He was in critical condition and had arrived at the hospital in a coma induced by hypothermia and the onset of drowning.
He remained sedated until yesterday, hospitalized in the emergency medicine department, monitored by doctors, both for his physical and psychological conditions.
The 35-year-old was very shaken by what happened, had confused memories and was very tried by the disappearance of his cousin.
The Sassari Public Prosecutor's Office has opened an investigation into the incident, entrusting the investigations to the Port Authority of Porto Torres and the Carabinieri of Porto Torres and the Provincial Command of Sassari.
Now Pinna will have to clarify the many dark aspects of the incident .
Investigators are also examining the theft of a boat that was moored at the port of Porto Torres and which disappeared on the afternoon of April 12: one of the hypotheses that the investigators are verifying is that it could be the vessel used by the two shipwrecked and sunk in the Gulf of Asinara.
Meanwhile, an appeal from Calvia's sister, Nadia, has appeared on social media . “I want my brother to come out, dead or alive . I want at least a body to cry on», reads the close message to Facebook, which underlines the many «obscure points» of the story which still need to be clarified.
