Six years of imprisonment and ban from places frequented by minors, plus a provisional amount of around 30 thousand euros towards the civil party. This is the sentence pronounced today by the judge of the Court of Cagliari, Roberto Cau, against a thirty-five-year-old teacher from Medio Campidano accused of sexual violence against one of his twelve-year-old pupils .

Andrea Pusceddu ended up under investigation after a complaint from the girl's parents. The student said she had received inappropriate attention from the teacher. The prosecutor Daniele Caria, supported by the agents of the flying squad and anti-crime division of the police headquarters and by the soldiers of the San Gavino carabinieri company, then completed the investigation by requesting the trial of the young teacher.

Today at the end of the first degree trial , in abbreviated form, Judge Cau pronounced the conviction. The teacher was defended by the lawyer Matteo Vinelli, while the family of the twelve-year-old filed a civil action with the lawyer Gianfranco Piscitelli. The anti-violence association "Angeli nel cuore" with the lawyer Elisabetta Magrini was also brought into court as a civil party.
