Settimo remembers the Mura family, destroyed forty years ago by a road accident

Settimo San Pietro remembers the Mura family, victims forty years ago of a road accident on the Statale 131 near Sanluri.

Piero Mura, his wife Anna Maria, sons Giacomo and Gianvincenzo died : they were returning from Alà dei sardi, where the boys had taken part in a cross-country race.

The day began with a visit to the cemetery at the family's grave. Mass was celebrated in the parish yesterday. Also inaugurated the photographic exhibition on the tragedy set up by Claudio Mura, a close relative of the victims ( HERE his story of the tragedy). Several fellow citizens present with their families.

The exhibition can be visited all day in the Casa Dessì. Running competitions reserved for all categories are also scheduled. Many participants: children, professional athletes, women.
