House arrest revoked for the fifty-year-old from Sestu, arrested last week for escaping from the town's carabinieri.

He had been caught on board a taxi, very elegantly dressed, so much so that the police thought he was headed for a romantic date .

After his arrest, the suspect appeared before a single judge who sentenced him to pay a fine of 1,600 euros. The man had, however, obtained confirmation of his house arrest, which has now been revoked by the judge, who ordered his detention in Uta prison.

The measure was carried out by the Carabinieri of the Sestu Station who accompanied him to the penitentiary institute, where he ended up last year for a drug-related affair, later obtaining house arrest.
