Thirty tons of pellets with expired certification : this is what the Forestry Carabinieri of the CITES Unit of Cagliari discovered and seized in a shop in Sestu . The hypothesis is of fraud in trade .

Specifically, the pellets, contained in over 2 thousand bags of 15 kg each, should have been distributed and marketed by a certain date , but from the checks carried out it emerged that the distribution would instead have taken place after the deadline, and therefore when the material should have be already used up or disposed of .

From Via Riva di Ponente the Forestry Carabinieri remind you of the importance of checking the product label , where there is all the essential information on the product as well as proof that it has a valid certification.
