Anna Casti is the winner of the second edition of the Selegas Pizza Day contest promoted by the Pro Loco with the patronage of the Municipality, which saw the participation of amateur pizza makers from all over Sardinia. The initiative was created to promote the healthy habit of preparing homemade pizza, with inventiveness, creativity and above all with the use of genuine ingredients, most of the time zero km. "An important opportunity to promote and promote the gastronomic products of our territory", underlines the municipal councilor for Tourism, Valeria Pardu. The Pro Loco, at the same time as the competition, distributed over 2,500 pizzas to the large audience and made Trexenta flour available to the competitors. "We experienced an evening dedicated to taste and socialization", said the president of the tourist association Michele Fadda.
The evening was hosted by Pier Paolo Argiolu, known under the pseudonym of Chef Cozzina. The winner, Anna Casti from Villacidro, won over the jury with her creation Sapori del Linas. Last year, during the first edition of the Contest, the first prize was awarded to Maurizio Soi from Senorbì. At the end of the event, Mayor Alessio Piras made an appointment with the public and competitors for next year, reminding them that during the summer there are still many outdoor evenings with parties, fun and shows for the whole family.
