A clinic that also becomes an educational and experiential space, where children and pets become protagonists in a journey of health and emotional growth.

This project kicks off in nutrition biologist Roberto Diana's office in Selargius, with the inauguration of the Kids & Pets Corner: an innovative model that combines nutritional education, emotional well-being, and pet therapy.

The idea was born from the meeting between Dr. Diana and Leonardo Tronci, 18, creator of EmoPet, an “empathetic” artificial intelligence platform that has already received international recognition , including third place at the Future Minds AI Hackathon.

Tronci, a student at the Liceo Classico Europeo with the dream of becoming a doctor and researcher , supports the nutritionist in creating activities designed for the little ones: narrative games, emotional workshops and moments of dialogue, in which the presence of animals becomes a tool for building relationships and trust.

A joint work session also gave rise to an editorial idea: an interactive comic book starring Fritz and Lulù, EmoPet's mascot avatars. The stories, set in the Selargius studio , will guide children through short adventures focused on emotions, health, and friendship.

"With EmoPet, I discovered that sharing empathetic tools not only helps children, but can also inspire other young people to experiment and innovate," says Leonardo, who recently celebrated his 18th birthday.

The Kids & Pets Corner will be open from the end of September . It will include workshops where children can participate with their pets, including nutritional education and pet therapy activities. "Nutrition isn't just science, it's also a relationship," emphasizes Dr. Diana, "and when there's empathy, even food becomes healing."

The project is open to families , schools, and pediatric associations who wish to experience an innovative path of education in intergenerational health and well-being.
