The Selargius carabinieri are investigating an alleged scam against a pensioner who allegedly gave 15 thousand euros to a person they met shortly before to immediately get the same sum back in large denomination banknotes.

The cash would have disappeared with the scammer.

The carabinieri started investigations after receiving the complaint. There are no other details on the matter.

However, there is talk of investigations already at a turning point.
