Sedilo, damage count after the explosion of the cylinder on the terrace: the family is in a B&B in the meantime

Since yesterday , the family of Moroccan origins whose home in the public housing complex on Via Turritana was hit by a gas cylinder located on the outside terrace has been hosted in a B&B in the town, at the expense of the municipal administration.

"The damage does not appear to be extensive," says Mayor Salvatore Pes . "It involves rebuilding the wall of the torn-off terrace, fixing some window frames and glass and obviously painting."

The technicians of Area, owner of the building, are now concluding the damage count and verifying what work needs to be done.

The explosion, felt throughout the country, had created moments of fear and concern.

The fire brigade, the 118 emergency service and the Carabinieri of the local station promptly intervened, but fortunately, apart from the material damage, there were no consequences for people.
