Sassari, two Roma women arrested for home burglary
The Carabinieri have identified those responsible for two raids carried out in recent days
They carry out a theft of thousands of euros in gold and silver jewelery in Sassari and are arrested by the police in Oristano and Vercelli.
They are two women of the Roma ethnic group, aged 48 and 41, who, according to the prosecution, stole 5 thousand euros in jewelery from an apartment in the Turritan capital on 12 April.
Using latex gloves so that fingerprints would not be traced. The same women apparently attempted a robbery in another home on April 16th but failed because they were discovered by the owner of the house who chased them away.
The suspects were then found by the military in Oristano and in the municipality of Alice Castello in the province of Vercelli and were placed under house arrest and at the disposal of the judicial authorities.
