Sassari, too much noise from the club until late at night: Nas and local police in action

Joint operation by local police and Nas this evening in Sassari. The soldiers of the Carabinieri and the agents of the Municipality entered a restaurant in Corso Vittorio Emanuele, in the historic centre, for an in-depth check of both the building conditions of the restaurant, which offers non-local specialities, and its health status.

The local police commander Gianni Serra also controlled the spaces, together with his men. Several area residents frequently complained about the noise coming from the facility, sometimes lasting into the early hours of the morning.

The prevailing situation in the historic centre, characterized by drug dealing and episodes of violence, is being brought to the attention of the institutions and the police. Each mayoral candidate, in the recent administrative consultations, has placed old Sassari at the center of his program of intent and the winner of the elections himself, the mayor Giuseppe Mascia, declared that the first interventions of his council will concern the historic centre.
