The music world mourns the death of the 55-year-old Sassari musician Giuseppe Fadda, known for his skills and abilities as a cellist, violin and cello teacher in the Olbia civic school.

He had felt ill during a concert , on the occasion of the Music Festival, held in Olbia. Emergency hospitalized at the Cagliari hospital, he had undergone surgery. The situation was stationary until his health worsened. Last night he died of cardiac arrest.

To mourn the musician's death the colleagues of the Ars Musicandi Ensemble, the musical group of which Giuseppe Fadda was a member, made up of artists from Porto Torres and Sassari.

«We had fun playing together, every concert an exchange of ideas and emotions», said Donatella Parodi, his colleague «the memory of a dear friend with whom we played from the early years of the Sassari Conservatory remains». The Ars Musicandi Ensemble, the quintet born in 1994 within the Musicando Insieme association, is composed of Claudio Sanna on piano, Marco Ligas on violin, Donatella Parodi on viola, Giuseppe Fadda on cello and Luca Ghidini on double bass.
