The disciplinary sanction of one day's suspension inflicted against a teacher of the Iti Angioy by the headteacher was annulled by the Labor section of the court of Sassari. The news was given by Cobas Scuola Sardegna which, in a press release, recalls the premises of the story that began on 7 February 2020 when the teacher Emilio Fadda receives the disciplinary dispute because, as he refers, he allegedly, in December 2019, omitted the supervisory activity on the class during a conference held in the Aula Magna of the institute.

According to the union, the teacher would be absent for a few minutes to go , the note reads, “ to the office of the teacher who collaborates with the Headmaster to obtain confirmation of one of his requests ”. A provision that Cobas therefore deemed illegitimate and unmotivated, as he explains in writing, adumbrating other reasons, all to be proven, contained in the defense brief: "We would not like what happened to be ascribed to his activity as RLS - Workers' Safety Representative - and to the continuous solicitations that he has addressed, in recent months, to the school management in order to obtain all the documentation required by current legislation in relation to the delicate task he covers and for which he must try to guarantee procedures compliant with current legislation for himself himself and for the colleagues he represents".

However, the head teacher Luciano Sanna replies: "The provision is prior to the office of Rls held by Fadda" . On its own, the court then recognized that the headteacher was not entitled to give the sanction which instead would have been due to the Office for disciplinary proceedings. The sentence, handed down by judge Matteo Girolametti on May 18, therefore cancels the disciplinary sanction and condemns the Ministry of Education to pay the teacher's unpaid day's work and to reimburse the costs of the proceedings in the order of 2,000 euros.
