From a potential 4 years of imprisonment to full acquittal. Yesterday in court in Sassari the judicial fate of four people, three from Tempio and one from the Turritan capital, ended for them in the best possible way after several hearings for a trial arising from an episode in 2018. When the defendants were stopped and searched in the Ploaghe countryside by the police who then found, in a nearby ditch, the narcotic contained inside a sachet.

The investigators' suspicion was that the young people came from the house of a convicted felon in the town, a fact that was later not proven. From there arose the charge for possession of marijuana for the purpose of dealing and the subsequent indictment. However, a subsequent expert report found that of the 93 grams found, only 3 were in possession of the active ingredient. And so we arrive at the discussion with the prosecutor who asks for 4 years of imprisonment and 20 thousand euros in fine each while the lawyers, the lawyer Tina Lunesu for a couple of accused, the lawyers Monica Liguori and Elena Spano for the other two, have instead acquittal was requested because the fact does not exist. The latter solution was pronounced by judge Silvia Masala at the time of the sentence.
