Between gutted sidewalks and chasms, blown and never restored tiles, in Monte Rosello, a district of Sassari, nothing has changed despite the endless reports.

Absolute degradation and filth win over decorum. A situation that has persisted for 4 years now.

The most critical condition in via Buonarroti and via Nurra. An impassable area frequented by children and elderly people who risk getting hurt.

«The major problems concern three manholes in via Buonarroti, the most serious at house number 3, the other on the right, corner of via Canepa, - explains Gian Mario Chelo, president of the Committee for the Monte Rosello neighborhood - always on the same street some sections of the pavement are literally crumbled and require intervention. Despite numerous reports to those in charge, to date there has been no intervention and the conditions have worsened further."

The situation does not improve if you move to via Sorso, with the sidewalks not usable especially in the descending part which forces pedestrians to walk on the road with all the dangers involved. The road surface of via Nurra and via Baldedda is also ruined, the neglect and even the dangers remain.

«We ask local institutions to listen to us – adds Chelo – because we feel abandoned by everyone, despite the serious critical issues that have persisted for years in this neighborhood.»
