Brawl, blood and injuries: Sassari, fear in via Rosello

Brawl in the historic center of Sassari.

In the late afternoon in via al Rosello kicks and punches, and perhaps bottles, were thrown between two or three people. It would have been a sort of score-settling that gave rise to the clash which ended with a person taken to the emergency room and the intervention of the local police and the carabinieri.

Two women, who should have been the offended parties, were also taken away in a municipal car.

The dynamics of what happened are still being examined by the police but it would appear that another person involved in the collision drove away in a car.

Meanwhile, at the scene of the brawl there is a large pool of blood that has reached a nearby manhole.
