Poor hygiene and illegal storage: three establishments between Porto Torres and Sorso fined.

Widespread checks were carried out last night in the Porto Torres and Sorso areas to combat administrative and criminal violations of premises and crimes in general.

Carabinieri station patrols are on duty with the support of the Operations and Radiomobile Unit of the Porto Torres Company and the Anti-Adulteration Unit of Sassari.

Following inspections of three commercial establishments, the Carabinieri issued administrative fines totaling €6,000 to the owners for various reasons. The administrative violations primarily involved failure to implement the required minimum hygiene standards , which in several cases were not met, the creation of illegal warehouses for the storage of goods , and failure to comply with regulations on the proper destruction of food.

During the inspections carried out by the Carabinieri, 72 people were identified and 35 vehicles were checked , also fining several individuals for administrative violations for possession of narcotics for personal use.
