The Quaestor of Sassari has ordered the closure of a place in the historic city centre.

The decision came after the policemen of the Flying Squad intervened on Sunday 5 February following an attack by a customer against another patron which took place inside the bar . Aggression then degenerated into riots.

The episode created social alarm, since it occurred in an area of the historic center where, at the time of the events, the shops were open and frequented by many people, including children and the elderly.

For this reason, the Quaestor decreed the suspension of the license relating to the public exercise for 30 days , with the consequent closure of the structure.

The provision was adopted to avoid problems of public order during the days of Carnival.
