Three years of imprisonment . Requested yesterday in court in Sassari by the prosecutor Antonio Piras at the end of the discussion against Claudio Dettori , already sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of the bartender Antonio Fara in 2021. In the disputed case, the 28-year-old from Sassari ended up on trial on charges of mistreatment against cohabitants for a series of episodes dating back to the period between November and December 2017 when the young man from Sassari, in the house under house arrest, allegedly threatened and insulted the three roommates with whom he lived in via Nizza.

Dettori allegedly first began by turning off the water when the girls were showering and then became increasingly aggressive, going as far as insulting the girls and threatening them with phrases such as, “I'll throw a bucket of boiling water on your head while you're sleeping” or “I'll kill you and cut your head off”. In particular, he allegedly targeted one of the three, convinced that she was the one who reported him and he allegedly addressed her with insulting phrases and attempted to intimidate her on several occasions.

The already tense cohabitation definitively deteriorates when the girls realize that both the Coca-Cola and some foods have a strange taste and fear that Dettori has put some insecticide in them, which is present in the closet. And so, after a final violent argument, they leave the house and report what happened to the police. Judge Monia Adami has ordered that the hearing of Giuseppe Onorato, the defense attorney, be held in May.
