€1.325 million for the bridge over the Rio Banzos along the SP 41 bis Siligo-Banari section. Reconstruction of the structure, damaged by the flood of May 30, 2023, is underway. The Metropolitan City of Sassari is allocating the funds , aiming to secure the bridge and restore full road access . This funding will be used from the Revolving Fund pursuant to Law 183/1987 (Poc) and the Government Cohesion Agreement.

The project, which has already passed the hurdle of the Services Conference, aims to resolve the situation on a stretch of road that, after what happened three years ago, was first closed and then reopened but with crowding restrictions and alternating one-way traffic, near the crossing.

The planned project, part of the Roads, Transport, and Sustainable Mobility sector, led by Gianni Milia, will restore the infrastructure of Provincial Road 41 bis to current standards, thus limiting the risk of further problems due to flooding from the Banzos River. This decision, from a broader perspective, aims to secure the city's road network.

"The reconstruction of the bridge over the Banzos River is a concrete response to a problem the region has long been waiting for , since the serious emergency of 2023," stated Giuseppe Mascia, Mayor of the Metropolitan City of Sassari. "With this project, the Metropolitan City of Sassari is definitively taking charge of this critical situation, providing the necessary resources to advance the project toward completion. Investing in safety and road safety means ensuring more efficient connections for citizens, businesses, and local communities, confirming the City's central role in planning and maintaining the metropolitan area's strategic infrastructure."
