Sarroch: runners and volunteers clean up viale Foxi

They armed themselves with garbage bags, gloves and a lot of good will and cleaned the ditches of the avenue that leads to Foxi: once again the runners of the Asd Podismo Sarroch and the volunteers who now regularly join the company of the president Giuseppe Scioni have given proof of their civic sense.

So many glass bottles, plastic and waste of all kinds, so much garbage was collected at the edges of the road that it filled numerous bags : the next goal for the team of volunteers is to also involve the schools to create a great ecological day.

"We did a good job and as always, in the end, we also had fun - says Giuseppe Scioni -, with the arrival of winter we will think together with the municipal administration to organize increasingly attended events, in order to clean up ever different corners of our territory. We thank the barracellare company for having watched over our safety by patrolling the streets where we were busy".
