Sardinian municipalities collapsing, mayors demanding payment: "Unblock the maneuver"
Amendment by the Council to increase the Single Fund by 60 million, but for the opposition it is not enough

They are not broke, but they can only stand on their own two feet for a short time. "Just for a few months," says a mayor of central Sardinia who is now calling, with the associations of municipalities, for the approval of the maneuver in the Regional Council.
The fourth month of provisional exercise did not come as good news: too much waiting for nothing , at a time when sailing by sight is the only thing that matters even in the eyes of citizens. The time for demands is over, for many the reality is administration in twelfths, to pay for essential services and guarantee salaries for employees.
Weeks of pressure from the ANCI have had their effects. The single fund for local authorities will be increased by at least 10%, that is, by almost 60 million euros . The increase will be indicated in black and white in an amendment that the Council will present directly in the Chamber. For the opposition, 60 million is still not enough.
