Yet another day of "fire" in Sardinia .
In a few hours, 26 fires broke out in as many locations on the island that forced the fire-fighting teams to overwork , not only by land, but also from the sky, with the support of helicopters . Overall, the flames sent about 30 hectares of land up in smoke.
Five are the most demanding fronts, which made it necessary to intervene by air vehicles .
The first large fire broke out in the Bottidda countryside , in the "Nuraghes" area. On site, the staff of the Bono Forestry Corps Station, assisted by a helicopter from the base in Alà dei Sardi. Two teams from the Forestas Agency, three barracelli teams, as well as the Sassari Fire Brigade and volunteers also took part.
The fire covered an area of about 15 hectares of wooded pasture .
Another maxi-fire in the Municipality of Mores , in "Riu de tola", where the intervention of aircraft took off from Limbara and Fenosu was necessary.
Together with the Foresters, the Ozieri firefighters are also in action, who have put out the flames that have covered an area of about 10 hectares of arable land .

Finally, flames in Capoterra , in Villa D'Orri: Forestry on land and a helicopter taken off from Pula. The fire attacked an olive grove and the Cagliari firefighters and volunteer teams also intervened to tame it.
