Yet another busy day for the fire fighting teams in Sardinia.
Six fires broke out in as many locations on the island which made it necessary, in addition to the intervention of the operators by land, also the take-off of air vehicles .
Helicopters in action in Simaxis , in the Curruliu area, where a fire covered an area of about 4 hectares of bare pasture.
Another fire with three helicopters in flight in the Municipality of Bottidda , in the locality of "Nuraghe Larattu", and then in Pompu , in Riu laccus, with air vehicles in support of the men of the Forestry from the bases of Marganai and Farcana. In this case, 2.5 hectares of bushy pasture are up in smoke.
