There are 18 fires registered today in Sardinia, and for three of these it was necessary, in addition to the teams on the ground, also the intervention of the regional and national fleet aircraft. During the operations, two assistants of the Forestry Corps felt ill and were taken to the hospital.
In Orroli , in the localities of Su Motti, Sa Serra, Is Crastus, Terra and cacchius, the extinguishing was coordinated by the personnel of the Forestry Corps Station of Escalaplano and Isili, with helicopters from the CFVA bases of Sorgono, Villasalto, San Cosimo, Pula, Farcana and the Super Puma of Fenosu. The national air competition was requested with the support of a Canadair from Olbia. Four teams of the Forestas Agency intervened from the construction sites of Ardara, Thiesi, Giave, Ozieri, the barracelli of Bonnanaro and Torralba in addition to the Gauf of Sassari and the firefighters of Sassari. During the activities, two assistants of the Forestry Corps felt ill: immediately rescued, they were taken to the hospital of Ozieri for checks.
