After the rain and snow, which brought some relief to a parched and drought-stricken Sardinia, the ice is coming. In fact, the regional Civil Protection Department has issued a severe weather warning for tomorrow, warning of the risk of frost in inland areas of the north and center of the island starting in the early hours of the morning and again after sunset.

The Decentralized Functional Center – Meteorological Sector forecasts localized ice formations on the ground from midnight until 11:59 PM on Friday, November 28. This situation is caused by the arrival of cold air from the north, which has been affecting the western Mediterranean since Wednesday.

The alert will be in effect all day tomorrow. Drivers are advised to exercise extreme caution.
