Santu Lussurgiu celebrates his 102 year old grandfather

Another record for the venerable grandfather from Luxurious Antonio Maria Bassallu who   yesterday, Monday 20 November, it celebrated 102 years. A Guinness World Record achievement for the entire Montiferru, land of centenarians: Tziu Antoni easily passed the century of life thanks to a healthy diet and that miraculous elixir of long life kept in his DNA. A tireless worker, for many years with his back bent working the fields, passionately taking care of olive groves, vineyards and orchards.

Work and pain, due to the premature loss of his wife Speranza and son Luigi, but also the joy of still being able to enjoy his other son Sebastiano and of having reached the record of 102 springs.

The celebration yesterday in the senior center with the loving affection and care of the healthcare workers of the Che Frades Cooperative, which manages the Luxurious facility. The whole community rallied around Antoni Maria, wishing him a long life.
