He attempted to break into his ex-partner's house , first forcing the windows and then the front door.
It happened last night in Sant'Antioco, with the man, a 53-year-old local, arrested by the Carabinieri who intervened within minutes at the woman's request.
During the episode, the man also allegedly made death threats and insults towards his former campaigner, causing her a profound state of fear and distress.
Investigations conducted by the Carabinieri revealed that the man had already been placed under house arrest in March for similar stalking of the same person, a measure that was later revoked.
This time the 53-year-old was taken to prison in Uta at the disposal of the Judicial Authorities.
