Mystery on the death of eighty-year-old Caterina Sailis, born in 1943, who died on Wednesday morning in hospital in San Gavino after being hospitalized, apparently following a fall.

Prosecutor Gaetano Porcu has ordered the autopsy which will be formalized in the next few hours. The elderly woman had been a guest in a retirement home in Sanluri for about three years. The contours of the story that led to the manslaughter investigation are not yet clear.

The first person to notify the Prosecutor's Office was the ASL medical examiner who did not give the green light to the burial, contesting the report of death due to cardiac arrest and informing the police.

A sister and a niece of the eighty-year-old then decided to formalize a complaint with the lawyer Gianfranco Piscitelli. Now the autopsy will clarify the mystery.
