Two engaged couples from Samugheo were reported by the police for animal cruelty.
The matter emerged on September 23rd when the continuous mistreatment of a poor Cane Corso puppy was reported to the police.
According to what has been reconstructed, the boyfriends, he 25 years old and she 22, both waiters busy in the tourist season in Dorgali, continually beat up the little dog by hitting it with violent kicks. Frequent attitudes as witnessed by the cameras that filmed the various moments in which the couple picked on the animal.
After all the investigations by the Samugheo police, a complaint was filed for animal abuse. Further checks are underway: it is not excluded that the puppy could be given into foster care and removed from that environment which is certainly not ideal for a small dog.
