The story of a loss but also a tribute to the most tenacious identity trait of the city, the work of the mussel farmers, farmers of the sea: “S'Indattaraiu”, the short film directed by Matteo Pianezzi, after traveling to festivals in Italy and Europe, arrived in Olbia where everything was born and for the first town an informal and slightly underground context was chosen, that of the local "The Wall" in an evening organized by the Eventi Frizzanti collective of which the director (and artistic director) himself of Olbia Film network and Figari short film fest) is part.

The short tells the story of Mario, a widowed mussel farmer, who deals with depression linked to the loss of his wife and the increasingly thin thread that keeps him attached to life: his boat and work. Pulling up mussels every day to make a living, as he always has. Olbia is there with its thousand faces: the glittering Ferris wheel and the bars on the seafront, the short and intense dialogue with a dancer outside the nightclub, the unmistakable natural scenery of the gulf dominated by Tavolara which is the mussel farmers' field, where they grow mussels, s'indattaru in Olbia.

The film is produced by Massimo Casula for Zena film, played in the main role by Luciano Curreli from Cagliari, Mauro Addis and other actors from Olbia, the music also strictly made in Olbia by Marco Azara (guitarist who, among other things, accompanies Salmo) Michele Nieddu and Nicola Uras. The film's song of the same name, a sort of city anthem written by Toni Derosas, however does not appear in the short. S'Indataraiu participated in competitions and non-competitions at various festivals and among other things received the prize for best leading actor, best direction and best photography at the Factory festival in Puglia.

Mussels in the background but protagonists, and not only in the aperitif served as a side dish to the event together with Gallura Vermentino. The president of the Mussel Farmers Consortium Raffaele Bigi announced the long-awaited achievement of the collective brand that will distinguish the delicious Olbia mussel and its 103 years of history.
