The forestry corps of the Sant'Antioco station and the Assosulcis Civil Protection , upon activation of the operations center, intervened with two means to extinguish a small fire in a strip of Eucalyptus present on the roadside in the old section of the Statale 195 in the municipality of Giba , which leads to the seaside resort of Porto Botte.

The timely intervention of the ground crews made it possible to stem the flames in a fairly small area.
