The meeting between the Councilor for Public Works, Aldo Salaris , and the CEO of Anas, Aldo Isi , took place on Thursday, in the course of which Anas made a commitment to speed up and recover the slowdowns in construction sites , also and above all in light of the innovations contained in the so-called aid decree (Legislative Decree 50/2022) recently approved by the Government, which in order to cope with the dizzying increase in the prices of building materials, energy and fuel products, has made significant innovations in public procurement and expensive materials.

In fact, the Decree introduces a series of new provisions, in particular it has established that by 31 July 2022 the regional price lists are updated, in the meantime automatically applying a 20% increase in the price lists in use.
During the meeting, Salaris asked for more attention to Sardinia , to be realized in a restart of the stopped works due to expensive materials (which had a negative impact on the cost of steel, concrete and bitumen) and in the hiring .

" Anas has guaranteed maximum availability on both fronts, the hiring one whose answers will come from the industrial plan and the one relating to the acceleration of the works, in the awareness that traffic loads such as summer ones cannot be faced with blocked construction sites that cause delays, queues, slowdowns and even accidents ”, explained the commissioner, who asked for a time schedule of the works on site by site.

Within the first fifteen days of June, Anas will therefore provide the detailed time schedule of the state of work on the main construction sites that the Region will share directly with the Prefectures.

By the end of June, the CEO of Anas then made a commitment to visit the main Sardinian shipyards directly with the councilor Salaris during his first institutional visit to Sardinia.
