Safety on provincial roads and healthcare: these are the emergencies in his territory that the prefect of Oristano, Salvatore Angieri, brought to the attention of the president of the regional council, Piero Comandini, this morning in Cagliari.
The highest representative of the Sardinian assembly promised attention towards the area and assured that, in the next Budget, the answers that the mayors and citizens have been waiting for for a long time will be given .
«The infrastructure situation on the entire island, and especially in the Oristano area, is difficult. It is first and foremost", stated President Comandini, "a safety problem, the number of deaths on the roads requires immediate interventions".
Comandini then reiterated that the Region does not have a problem of resources but of spending and that one of the objectives of this legislature is precisely to speed it up.
The Prefect of Oristano also underlined the difficult healthcare situation. Many areas do not have a general practitioner and in Oristano itself the medical guard is only present for 20 days a month. We then talked about agriculture, public order, fires, petty crime and railways.
