Everything is ready at the Olbia Arena for the Red Valley, the music festival scheduled from 12 to 15 August which every year brings together thousands of people from every corner of the country. To ensure safety in the city , Mayor Settimo Nizzi has issued an ordinance that regulates the consumption of alcohol , beverages and behavior throughout the municipal area.
During the days of the event, from 18 to 5 in the morning , the possession, consumption, sale and administration of alcoholic beverages and spirits will be prohibited. This is in the bars, clubs and itinerant kiosks in the area adjacent to that of the concerts, up to a radius of 500 meters. Furthermore - given that the use of glass containers and cans can be dangerous for people and for the environment - the possession or sale (in clubs, itinerant kiosks and even vending machines) of any beverage contained in containers other than paper or compostable material.
For Mayor Nizzi "major events are now an integral part of our calendar which, over the years, we will continue to enrich but safety must always be put first".
