This morning, around 10.30, the body of Alessandro Silanos , the worker resident in Alghero, in the Carmine area, who had been missing for about four weeks, was found.

The 57-year-old man disappeared on August 26 at the entrance to the city of Alghero, near the Pinguino Verde car wash.

Over the past twenty days, checks and inspections by law enforcement, volunteers, and family members have concentrated on that area, from Carmine to the surrounding countryside.

The discovery was made on a plot of land not far from the Monte Agnese nursery school. The search had been concentrated in that area in recent days.

Particular attention had also been paid to an olive grove in the area, where, according to some reports, the man was last seen.
