The municipal administration of Senorbì has renewed the agreement with the Carta Bianca association of Cagliari to promote and organize together a series of cultural initiatives with the aim of promoting the encounter with writing and reading education by the community, and in particular the younger ones.

The call for applications is open (deadline: 15 April 2024) for participation in the twelfth edition of the regional poetry competition promoted by Carta Bianca with the patronage of the municipalities of Senorbì, Gesico, Sini, Maracalagonis and the collaboration of the Genti Arrubia e Kalb edizioni association reserved for authors, Italian and foreign, resident in Sardinia. You also have time until April 15th to participate in the 14th Literary Competition for Short Stories and Aphorisms promoted by Carta Bianca with the patronage of the municipal administration of Senorbì. The works with the most votes in the two sections of the competition (adults and children) by the jury of writers and teachers (among the jurors is Augusto Montisci from Arixi, winner of the 2021-2022 edition of the prize) will be included in an anthology published by Kalb.

The awards ceremony will be held in Senorbì, in the Domu Nosta archaeological museum. And it was in the evocative setting of the museum in the historic center that the awards ceremony for the thirteenth edition of the Competition for short stories and aphorisms was held. The mayor Alessandro Pireddu, the artistic director of the initiative Fabrizio Manca Nicoletti, the councilor for culture Sonia Mascia and the scientific director of Madn Elisabetta Frau took turns in announcing the winners. The first place in the short stories section for the adult category is Fernanda Pinna, finalist Luca Spissu. The first prize for the poetry section, adult category, was awarded to Franca Pitzalis. Short stories, children's category: the winner is Asia Dessì, finalist Enrico Baldini. In the aphorisms section, children's category, the winner is Francesco Zurrida.
