It was a raid, an inexplicable action with strangers who, after breaking into the Prociv Quartu headquarters in via Brigata Sassari, even damaged the ambulances and a Transit van, with a platform and wheelchair for transporting the sick.
An act of vandalism, a warning, a revenge, gratuitous hooliganism? What is certain is that there are damages for about 60 thousand euros .
Office computers, two ambulances, two-way radios, a fire-fighting bremach, a transit van with a mobile platform for the transport of RSA patients were damaged.
The association is on its knees, stopped since August : it no longer has the means to continue in its voluntary activity. A forced stop that comes after almost forty years of activity against fires and to help the needy.
The president Alice Puddu and the volunteer Roberto Pischedda , who is also the president of the Prociv of Selargius, ask for help from the Region and the Municipality to be able to start again.
