“They threatened us with a machete to take away our cell phones.”
This is what two young people, a minor and a twenty-two-year-old, reported when they went to the Carabinieri in Uta this morning to file a complaint.
The incident reportedly occurred last night in Piazza Yenne, Cagliari. The boys reported being approached by several individuals, one of whom was armed with a machete, who threatened them and forced them to hand over their smartphones.
The Carabinieri immediately began their investigation, gathering evidence that helped them more clearly understand the circumstances of the incident.
The investigations, still ongoing, concern in particular the acquisition and analysis of video surveillance footage present in the area and the gathering of further testimonies, aimed at precisely identifying the alleged perpetrators of the robbery.
