The low clouds that obscured the landscape have thinned out, leaving room for the breathtaking views of Ogliastra and Gennargentu. The twenty-first edition of "La Montagna Unisce" ended this afternoon, to the great satisfaction of the organizers of the Italian Alpine Club and of the participants. Thanks to the success also the mercy of the weather.

Four communities: Arzana, Desulo, Fonni and Villagrande met at Punta Lamarmora to talk about mountain areas. The mayor of Fonni, Daniela Falconi, did not miss the appointment.

"It was a day of enhancement of the Sardinian mountains - said the regional president of Cai Matteo Marteddu - we know that in these days the regional council is discussing the law, in which we at Cai and the Forestas agency have collaborated, to establish of the rules on refuges and bivouacs along the trail network. In fact, hikers need more certainty about the places where they can stop».

In Ogliastra there are various structures, such as the buildings in Forestas, which could be used by walkers. « As soon as the law is approved we will draw up a management regulation for these buildings but also for simple bivouacs - continued Marteddu - but everyone's collaboration is important. Naturally we will also work to make small corrections on the signs, for example, or on the travel times of the stage points. The mountain unites was an opportunity to address and focus on these issues too». The event was also attended by a delegation from the Italian Alpine Club of Feltre.
